Inspection method one: inspect the lubrication performance of the air compressor oil. First, rub the thumb and index finger wet with air compressor oil. If there is a sticky feeling, it can be concluded that this air compressor oil has better lubricating properties. If you feel astringent, it can be concluded that this air compressor oil has lost its proper lubricating performance. Because the lubricating performance of the air compressor oil is related to the viscosity of the air compressor oil, if the viscosity becomes worse, the performance of the lubricating oil is not good.
Inspection method two: inspect the moisture of the oil. Put the air compressor oil into the test tube and observe its transparency. If you observe that the test tube is not clear and transparent, but turbid, you can preliminarily determine that the air compressor oil contains water.
Inspection method three: inspect the viscosity of the oil. In Method Two, it can be seen that the performance of lubricating oil has a great relationship with viscosity. First, two test tubes must be prepared for comparison. One is that the air compressor engine oil that meets the quality standards after testing is installed in the test tube and used with a cork. And wax seal, do not fill up, leave a space of about 5 mm height. The other is to install the air compressor oil that needs to be tested for qualification in another test tube. The specifications and the amount of oil in the test tube used should be the same as the previous test tube, and the cork and wax are also used to seal the two tubes at the same time. Turn the test tube upside down and observe the rising speed of the bubbles. If the bubble rises faster than the standard air compressor oil, it means that the viscosity of this oil is low. On the contrary, the air compressor oil has a high viscosity.
Inspection method 4: Inspect whether there are impurities in the oil of the air compressor. For a simple and common step, put the air compressor oil into a test tube and observe whether there are suspended particulate impurities.
