Before starting the car air pump, it is necessary to make some checks on it to eliminate hidden troubles. The inspection before starting mainly includes the inspection of the power supply voltage and the inspection of the oil level.
1. Check the power supply voltage: The fluctuation range of the power supply voltage is required to be about ±5%.
2. Oil level inspection: The oil level is generally 1/3 to 2/3 of the oil level. When it is lower than 1/3 of the oil standard, the filtered lubricating oil of the same brand should be added in time, 13# compressor oil should be used in winter, and 19# compressor oil should be used in summer. SAE30 can be used when the temperature is above 10℃, and SAE10 can be used below 10℃.
Causes and maintenance methods for the reduction of the exhaust volume of the automobile air pump:
Failure: The air volume of the car air pump is reduced:
1. Cause of failure: lack of oil
The reduction in exhaust volume is directly related to the lack of oil. Once we were in production, the air compressor had a failure of reducing the exhaust volume, not only could not make the pressure roller of the printing press go up and down, but also accompanied by a certain knocking sound.
Maintenance method: We first check the air muffler and clean it, then observe the oil level and find that the oil level is lower than 1/3 of the oil level, immediately add the same grade of oil, then turn on the power switch and try it on , there is still a knocking sound. Later, the crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, and cylinder of the moving mechanism components were disassembled and inspected one by one. It was found that the crankshaft had cracks. It could be seen that it was about to break, and it must have been short of oil for a while. Due to lack of oil, dry friction occurs in moving parts, and overload operation causes various parts to be damaged to varying degrees. We cleaned, ground, and severely replaced the damaged moving parts, and then reinstalled and tested the machine. The knocking sound disappeared, and the displacement was normal. It can be seen that oil is absolutely indispensable, otherwise there will be endless troubles. 2. The cause of the failure: the tightness of the air muffler filter and the air valve is not good. Maintenance method: The reduction of the exhaust volume is also related to the tightness of the air muffler filter and the air valve. The air muffler filter must be cleaned frequently. Cleaning the dirt on the valve plate and valve plate is beneficial to the automobile air compressor to ensure the normal exhaust volume. Normally, the filter should be cleaned every 200 hours, and the air valve should be cleaned every 500 to 800 hours.
3. The reason for the failure: the quality of the lubricating oil is not good
Maintenance method: The poor quality of lubricating oil will cause the piston ring to be sucked, thereby reducing the displacement. Therefore, high-quality lubricating oil should be selected. After long-term work, the lubricating oil will contain impurities, dust, etc., so it needs to be filtered. In general, the oil should be changed every 500 to 800 hours, and the oil used previously should be filtered.
4. Cause of failure: Exhaust temperature is too high
Maintenance method: Excessive exhaust temperature will also cause the piston ring to be sucked, resulting in a reduction in the exhaust volume. Just lower the temperature and the problem will be solved. Two points should be noted here: (1) The ambient temperature should not be too high, generally not exceeding 40 °C. (2) If the air valve leaks, the discharged high-temperature gas will return to the cylinder. At this time, we should carefully check the air valve, grind the valve plate or replace the valve plate to eliminate air leakage, so as to solve the problem of excessive temperature.
